Lights that flicker, appliances that cut out, or a panel that trips with no clear reason—all these point to a stressed or outdated breaker system. At WireNut Home Services, we approach every circuit breaker issue with care, clarity, and craftsmanship that’s grounded in community trust.

Our licensed electricians are trained to identify worn components, incorrect breaker sizing, and system overloads. We handle circuit breaker repairs and new installations with attention to detail and respect for your time and home. From targeted repairs to full electrical panel coordination, every job is completed to the highest standards and protected by our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.

Signs You May Need Circuit Breaker Repair or Replacement

Colorado Springs homes are full of character—but many still rely on outdated electrical systems not built for today’s technology. Your circuit breaker protects your home from overloads, fires, and expensive damage. Knowing when to call for circuit breaker repair or installation can save more than your appliances—it can protect your peace of mind.

Breakers That Trip Frequently

Frequent tripping isn’t just frustrating—it’s your system telling you something’s wrong. Our team diagnoses the root of the issue, such as an overloaded circuit, loose connection, or outdated equipment, and provides real solutions that last.

Breakers That Won’t Reset

When a breaker trips and immediately shuts down again, it could mean a wiring issue, short circuit, or faulty breaker. We offer fast, accurate troubleshooting to get your electrical system back in safe, working order.

Signs of Heat or Burning Smells

Notice burn marks around your panel or a faint burning odor? These symptoms often signal internal arcing or a worn-down breaker that needs urgent attention. WireNut responds quickly to safeguard your home and your comfort.

Older Electrical Panels

Homes with decades-old panels or fuse boxes may be at risk—especially if new appliances or EV chargers are being added. Our licensed electricians evaluate your system and offer smart, code-compliant upgrade options for safe, reliable power.

Our Circuit Breaker Repair & Installation Process

Fixing or upgrading a circuit breaker isn’t just about swapping parts—it’s about ensuring the safety and performance of your entire home. At WireNut, we approach every service with precision, care, and a plan tailored to your home’s unique setup.

Thorough Panel & Circuit Evaluation

We start by evaluating your current electrical panel and the circuits connected to it. Using advanced testing tools, our electricians check for hot spots, loose wiring, outdated components, and capacity issues. This step ensures we understand your system from the inside out before making any recommendations.

Clear, Code-Compliant Solutions

After diagnosis, we walk you through every finding—no jargon, just real talk. If you need a replacement or full panel upgrade, we provide options that meet today’s safety standards and prepare your home for tomorrow’s energy needs.

Clean Installation & Safety Testing

Once we begin, we keep your home clean, your schedule in mind, and your family protected. Every repair or install is completed to current NEC code and backed by thorough testing to confirm your system’s safety and performance.

Backed by Our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work—always. If your new breaker or upgraded panel doesn’t perform as promised, we’ll make it right. That’s how we build trust across Colorado Springs, one project at a time.

After a tune up and inspection on my 39 year old furnance, revealed several corrosive problems and minor carbon monoxide levels, I decided to replace it. Brian and Cannon from Wire Nut showed up on time and I couldn't have been happier with the courtesy, professionalism, and care they demonstrated. My furnance was located in a small utility closet in a finished non walkout basement. The old furnance had to be removed and carried up two levels of stairs with a tight 180 degree turn half way up to the main level. Brian and Cannon took extreme care not to bang into the walls or trim taking the old furnance out and putting the new one in. Throughout the process they they were patient with me watching, explained what they were doing, showed me some of the warn parts and answered all my questions. They were like having family in the house. Bottom line is, I was extremely happy with the end result and the professionalism of these two Wire Nut technicians. Highly recommend!

I scheduled a tuneup visit on my 39 year old furnace that I suspected was running on its last legs. Marc from WireNut came out and performed a thorough inspection and identified several issues such as rusting burners and traces carbon monoxide. Although not yet at a dangerous level, it indicated a dangerous condition in the near future. I decided it was time to replace the firnance. Marc provided several replacement options for the square footage to beheated. He did not try to oversell or push the most expensive model. I chose a quality furnance, at what I considered a fair price, that I was confident would do the job. Marc was able to get the installation scheduled for the very next day, just in time for the first hard freeze of the year. I was very impressed with Marc who was personable, professional, and I felt very trustworthy. I have no reservations about recommending WireNut for you HVAC needs.

I was very pleased either the service Marc Kennedy provided. He explained every step on checking our furnace and explained that there was some rust on the back side of the heat chamber possibly caused by a plugged air conditioner drain that eventually could develop into a problem but ok for now. He also figured out why our humidifier wasn’t working and corrected the problem. I was very satisfied with the service we got.
