Outdated or poorly installed wiring doesn’t just dim the lights—it can jeopardize your safety, efficiency, and peace of mind. At WireNut Home Services, we provide strategic electrical wiring solutions that reinforce your home’s performance from the inside out. Every installation or upgrade is code-compliant, future-ready, and completed with the same care we’d give our own homes. From modern circuit expansions to full-home rewiring, our licensed electricians bring technical precision and local trust to every job. As a long-standing part of the Colorado Springs community, we don’t take shortcuts—just thoughtful, long-lasting solutions that protect what matters most.

Is It Time to Replace Your Home’s Electrical Wiring?

Outdated or damaged wiring isn’t just inconvenient—it’s one of the top contributors to residential electrical fires and energy waste. At WireNut, we believe safety, efficiency, and peace of mind should never be optional. Here are the signs your Colorado Springs home may be due for a wiring upgrade—and how we can help protect what matters most.

Breakers Keep Tripping or Lights Flicker

When your circuits can’t keep up with your daily routine, the wiring behind your walls could be failing. Persistent breaker issues or dimming lights are often the first signs that your system is outdated or overloaded.

Burn Marks or Strange Odors Near Outlets

Warm-to-the-touch outlets, visible scorch marks, or a faint burning smell indicate dangerous heat buildup. These symptoms typically signal loose wiring, poor connections, or aging insulation that’s breaking down.

Older Homes With Original Wiring

If your home is over 30 years old and hasn’t been rewired, you may be relying on outdated or unsafe materials like aluminum. Modern devices demand more power and precision—so it’s crucial your wiring meets today’s standards.

Planning a Renovation or Adding Major Appliances

Electrical loads increase with new appliances, basement finishes, and kitchen remodels. We evaluate your existing wiring and upgrade where needed to safely support your plans without risking voltage drops or overheating.

Our Electrical Wiring Process

When you call WireNut for wiring help, you’re not just getting wires run—you’re getting a thoughtful, safety-first service that’s tailored to your home’s layout, usage, and future goals. Our process emphasizes transparency, lasting performance, and genuine care for your space.

In-Depth Assessment & Planning

We start with a full inspection of your current wiring system to uncover risks, inefficiencies, or code violations. This includes evaluating panel compatibility, outlet demand, and any previous DIY or outdated work that could compromise safety.

Custom Wiring Layout & Material Selection

Once we understand your needs—be it a whole-home rewire or targeted improvements—we design a clean, code-compliant layout. We use only UL-listed, modern materials and plan for energy flow, load balancing, and accessibility in the event of future repairs.

Precision Installation With Minimal Disruption

Our licensed electricians use clean cuts, secure connections, and tested routing techniques to protect your walls, insulation, and home structure. We work efficiently to limit disruptions and always clean as we go—leaving your space safe and spotless.

Final Safety Check & Walkthrough

Before we consider any project complete, we perform a detailed safety check and confirm performance across all circuits. Then we walk you through the updates so you understand exactly what was done and what to expect going forward.

Another plumbing issue, this time with slow draining drains. Frankie Vargas came and recommended that we schedule a multi drain cleaning that's 95% effective. He also suggested having our septic system drained and maintained, which we were looking to do, anyway. We'll see how things turn out next week.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Gary Burgess of the WireNut plumbing department. I’ve known for a couple of years that we would have a big expense coming up to replace a lot of of galvanized pipe well over a century old, and figured it would need to be replaced throughout the entire home, including tearing up walls. But Gary inspected everything very carefully, including tracking each line from our basement to where it ran up into the rest of the house, an informed me of the good news that the only old galvanized piping we had was what we could see exposed in the basement and he would be able to connect it to the copper piping that ran through the rest of the house. I appreciated his honest assessment. He was very happy to know that we’d be able to save a lot of money that way. He was also very accommodating about my specific request to keep the line running to our kitchen copper instead of using PEX line for our drinking water. He and his assistant came and did very thorough job and we are happy with the result.

Yes! Logan and Conner did a great job! Everything was explained to me, even showed me pictures. I think of the two of them as the A Team. The two of them worked for hours, I don't think they even stopped for lunch. I know they did a very professional job and I won't have any more draining problems. If only we could have such good honest work from everyone. Thankyou so much, Wire Nut is very fortunate to have you guys on their team.

WireNut employee Steve Storms came by and installed two lights upstairs. Steve was professional, thorough and let me know about a service which would monitor my electrical system Josh Rullmann from WireNut came by to check on our AC today too. do to warm winter and heat wave coming next week. Everything checked out, Josh did a thorough job to which I appreciated his professionlism. Josh did point out that my filter was a bit lacking as I was using shoot off brand. It always happens when you’re not ready for it. But Adam was great & full of knowledge of what he was doing & so much info. I’m glad I did sign up for the year inspection. WOW! After an electrical fire in our home, we contacted Wirenut Home Services. The customer service from that very first phone call was amazing. As we were without power, Jason treated the situation as an emergency and he quickly arranged for an estimate by Jared. Jared provided an estimate in a timely manner and explained that their pricing was fixed at the estimate price and that the work would have a lifetime warranty. Though the quote was very expensive, it was reasonable for the amount of work to be performed. The work began almost immediately and we became acquainted with terrifically qualified, friendly and super hard working electricians. These guys worked tirelessly and even worked until 10 pm one evening. We would like to thank them all by name - Josh, Chris, Keyan, Dylan. Additionally, the team called in a plumber, Frankie to inspect for possible issues. He was also terrific. We will certainly use and recommend Wirenut as the experience was top notch! The work was performed in a timely manner and we were EXTREMELY pleased with the experience.
