Unclogs for Dogs: Clearing Drains, Feeding Dogs

At WireNut Home Services, we've launched a creative community initiative: for every drain we unclog, we’ll donate 5 pounds of dog food to a local animal shelter. This campaign allows us to tackle two problems at once—household plumbing hassles and pet hunger. Now, every slow, noisy, smelly, or clogged drain becomes more than just a plumbing issue; it becomes a chance to give back, support our local shelters, and help feed pets in need.
How It Works: From Clog to Canine Dinner If a homeowner schedules a drain unclogging service, WireNut responds with expertise—and goodwill. Along with fixing plumbing problems, the company donates five pounds of dog food per job. This means household maintenance doubles as a generous gesture toward community shelters and pups in need.

After a tune up and inspection on my 39 year old furnance, revealed several corrosive problems and minor carbon monoxide levels, I decided to replace it. Brian and Cannon from Wire Nut showed up on time and I couldn't have been happier with the courtesy, professionalism, and care they demonstrated. My furnance was located in a small utility closet in a finished non walkout basement. The old furnance had to be removed and carried up two levels of stairs with a tight 180 degree turn half way up to the main level. Brian and Cannon took extreme care not to bang into the walls or trim taking the old furnance out and putting the new one in. Throughout the process they they were patient with me watching, explained what they were doing, showed me some of the warn parts and answered all my questions. They were like having family in the house. Bottom line is, I was extremely happy with the end result and the professionalism of these two Wire Nut technicians. Highly recommend!

I scheduled a tuneup visit on my 39 year old furnace that I suspected was running on its last legs. Marc from WireNut came out and performed a thorough inspection and identified several issues such as rusting burners and traces carbon monoxide. Although not yet at a dangerous level, it indicated a dangerous condition in the near future. I decided it was time to replace the firnance. Marc provided several replacement options for the square footage to beheated. He did not try to oversell or push the most expensive model. I chose a quality furnance, at what I considered a fair price, that I was confident would do the job. Marc was able to get the installation scheduled for the very next day, just in time for the first hard freeze of the year. I was very impressed with Marc who was personable, professional, and I felt very trustworthy. I have no reservations about recommending WireNut for you HVAC needs.

I was very pleased either the service Marc Kennedy provided. He explained every step on checking our furnace and explained that there was some rust on the back side of the heat chamber possibly caused by a plugged air conditioner drain that eventually could develop into a problem but ok for now. He also figured out why our humidifier wasn’t working and corrected the problem. I was very satisfied with the service we got.

Junior, Gary and Brian have all been fantastic in getting my new heating system installed. As luck would have it, our system stopped working right at the weather turned. Wirenut was quick to get me on the schedule and all technicians involved have been wonderful to work with. They all took the time to explain and show their work and were timely in their arrival and completion of the job. Would highly recommend!
