Colorado Springs Faucet Repair & Installation

A dripping faucet isn’t just annoying. A single faucet dripping once per second wastes more than 3,000 gallons of water a year, and in Colorado Springs where water costs continue to climb, that adds up fast. Whether you’re dealing with a kitchen faucet that won’t stop dripping, a bathroom fixture with low pressure, or handles that are so stiff they’ve become a daily wrestling match, WireNut’s licensed plumbers can diagnose and fix the problem the same day in most cases.

We repair and install all faucet types throughout Colorado Springs, including ball, cartridge, ceramic disc, and compression faucets across kitchen, bathroom, utility, and outdoor applications. If your faucet is beyond repair or you’re simply ready for an upgrade, we handle full installations too, from a straightforward swap to a complete fixture upgrade with new supply lines and shutoff valves. Our plumbers work with all major brands and can help you pick a replacement that fits your existing plumbing configuration without requiring a full remodel. For broader plumbing needs, our Colorado Springs plumbing services cover everything from leak detection to water heater service.

Common Faucet Problems We Fix in Colorado Springs

Most faucet issues fall into a handful of categories. Here’s what our plumbers see most often:

  • Dripping or leaking: Usually a worn washer, O-ring, or cartridge. The fix is straightforward in most cases, but ignoring it wastes water and can accelerate corrosion around the fixture.
  • Low water pressure: Colorado Springs hard water leaves mineral deposits behind, and faucet aerators are a prime target. Sometimes a simple aerator cleaning or replacement is all it takes. Other times low pressure points to a bigger supply line issue.
  • Handles that are hard to turn: Stiff or sticky handles are usually a sign of worn internal components or mineral buildup inside the valve body.
  • Water that won’t get hot: If your faucet runs cold even when turned all the way to hot, the cartridge or mixing valve is usually the culprit.
  • Leaking around the base: Water pooling around the base of a faucet typically means a failed O-ring or loose mounting hardware.
  • Squeaking handles: That high-pitched squeak when you turn the handle usually means the stem threads need lubrication or replacement.

Repair or Replace? How to Decide

Most faucet repairs are cost-effective and worth doing, especially on newer fixtures. If your faucet is more than 15 years old, showing visible corrosion, or has needed repeated repairs, replacement usually makes more financial sense. Colorado Springs hard water accelerates wear on internal components, so older faucets here tend to hit that threshold sooner than in softer-water markets. WireNut’s plumbers will give you an honest assessment of whether a repair will hold or whether you’re better off putting that money toward a new fixture.

What to Expect When You Call WireNut for Faucet Service

Faucet jobs are some of the most straightforward calls we make, but we treat them with the same care as any other plumbing service. Here’s how it works:

  • Same-day availability: Most faucet repairs and installations can be scheduled and completed the same day you call.
  • Upfront pricing: We assess the job and give you a clear price before any work starts. No hourly guessing games.
  • All faucet types and brands: Ball, cartridge, ceramic disc, compression. Kitchen, bathroom, utility, outdoor. We work with them all.
  • Supply line and shutoff valve inspection: While we’re there, we check the condition of your supply lines and shutoff valves and flag anything that looks like a future problem.
  • Licensed plumbers: Every job is handled by a licensed Colorado plumber, not a handyman or subcontractor.

Faucet Installation: What’s Involved

If you’re replacing a faucet rather than repairing one, the process is typically straightforward. We shut off the water supply, remove the old fixture, check the condition of the supply lines and shutoff valves underneath, and install the new unit. If you’re upgrading to a different style or configuration, we’ll let you know upfront if any additional work is needed. Most faucet installations in Colorado Springs take an hour or two from start to finish.

WireNut Home Services has earned thousands of Google reviews and 11 consecutive BBB Excellence in Customer Service awards by doing the little jobs right, not just the big ones. A leaking faucet deserves the same quality of work as a full remodel. Schedule your faucet repair or installation online and we’ll get someone out to you fast.

I have used WireNut several times for a variety of services, from checking plumbing lines to HVAC tune-ups and electrical work. No matter who they send or who I speak with over the phone, I’m always impressed by their professionalism and genuine family-oriented approach.

I had the privilege of working with Frankie today, and let me just say—what a great guy! He was easy to talk to, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and was incredibly personable. He’s exactly the kind of person you want representing your company.

The same goes for everyone I’ve spoken with over the phone. Dawn, Jason, and the entire staff have consistently been friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

Thank you all for providing such outstanding customer service. It’s rare to find a company that delivers not only quality work but also makes every interaction feel personal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend WireNut to anyone looking for honest, professional, and caring service.

I had the pleasure of having WireNut help me with my serious plumbing problem. I had seen a sign somewhere that said they do plumbing - they have a good reputation - so I called. I had the pleasure of working with Frankie Vargas. He’s a gem and he went the distance to really ensure what was wrong and how to fix the problem. He explained the fix to me as it was complicated. But I understood. He was careful to explain options which they may be required to do if there were further complications and let’s face the truth, there can be complications. But he assured me and he was good to his Word, that they would explain the process along the way and even show me with the camera exactly what was going on. A few days passed and I was scheduled for service which required an inspection and a schedule with the local municipality - which delayed WireNut. But WireNut prevailed and the work began. The technicians sent were gentlemen and very sensitive to cleanliness - you know, keeping their work area clean and tidy while doing some difficult work. Those gentlemen Joseph Ellerd and Chris Beatty worked as a team. They were efficient and clever in their work which I watched much of the time. They maintained decorum in their language and in their respectful conduct. They were a real pleasure to know and like Frankie Vargas, they kept me apprised all along the way. I expect because of this consistent experience with WireNut plumbing department, that you too will find your experience more than completely satisfactory! It was certainly 5 Star and above!
