Centennial Kitchen & Bath Plumbing

Kitchen and bathroom plumbing in Centennial homes covers a wide range of work, from replacing a failed shutoff valve under the sink to a full bathroom fixture installation during a remodel. WireNut’s licensed plumbers handle all of it with same-day availability and upfront pricing.

Kitchen and Bath Plumbing for Centennial Homes

In Centennial homes from the 1980s, the shutoff valves under kitchen and bathroom sinks are often original equipment that has never been operated. When these valves are finally turned to address a repair or fixture replacement, they frequently fail to shut off completely or fail entirely, which complicates a simple fixture swap into a larger plumbing project. WireNut’s plumbers plan for this in older Centennial homes and come prepared to address shutoff valve failures as part of kitchen and bathroom plumbing work.

Kitchen and bath plumbing work connects naturally to broader home plumbing. Our faucet repair service handles dripping faucets and worn cartridges specifically. For supply line upgrades that are part of addressing aging galvanized plumbing, our pipe repair team handles broader supply line work. See all Centennial plumbing services.

  • Fixture installation and replacement for sinks, faucets, toilets, and shower valves during remodels or when existing fixtures have failed.
  • Shutoff valve replacement for valves under sinks and behind toilets that have seized, are leaking, or will not fully close.
  • Supply line replacement for braided stainless or plastic supply lines connecting shutoff valves to faucets and toilets that are aging or have developed drips.
  • P-trap repair and replacement for drain traps under sinks that are leaking or have become corroded or damaged.
  • Bathroom plumbing rough-in for new bathrooms or bathroom additions in Centennial home remodel projects.

Here are the kitchen and bathroom plumbing calls our Centennial plumbers handle most often.

Why Do Shutoff Valves Fail in Older Centennial Homes?

Shutoff valves under sinks and behind toilets in Centennial homes from the 1980s are typically compression or gate-style valves that have been in the open position continuously for 30 to 40 years. The internal seats and packing in these valves degrade over time, and the valves that have never been operated often cannot be closed fully when they are finally needed. This is a problem because a valve that will not shut off completely means you cannot isolate the fixture for repair without shutting off the main water supply to the home.

Replacing old shutoff valves with modern quarter-turn ball valves is a straightforward upgrade that gives Centennial homeowners reliable isolation capability for every fixture. WireNut can replace shutoff valves throughout the home as a single project or address them one at a time as fixture work comes up.

What Plumbing Work Is Typically Needed During a Bathroom Remodel in Centennial?

A bathroom remodel in a Centennial home typically involves moving or replacing supply lines to new fixture locations, installing new shutoff valves, updating drain rough-in to match the new fixture layout, and connecting new fixtures to existing water and drain services. In older homes where the existing supply is galvanized steel, a bathroom remodel is often the right time to repipe the supply lines to that bathroom in copper or PEX, which is the modern flexible plastic pipe that does not corrode. WireNut handles the full plumbing scope of bathroom remodels with permits and inspections included.

I have used WireNut several times for a variety of services, from checking plumbing lines to HVAC tune-ups and electrical work. No matter who they send or who I speak with over the phone, I’m always impressed by their professionalism and genuine family-oriented approach.

I had the privilege of working with Frankie today, and let me just say—what a great guy! He was easy to talk to, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and was incredibly personable. He’s exactly the kind of person you want representing your company.

The same goes for everyone I’ve spoken with over the phone. Dawn, Jason, and the entire staff have consistently been friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

Thank you all for providing such outstanding customer service. It’s rare to find a company that delivers not only quality work but also makes every interaction feel personal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend WireNut to anyone looking for honest, professional, and caring service.

I had the pleasure of having WireNut help me with my serious plumbing problem. I had seen a sign somewhere that said they do plumbing - they have a good reputation - so I called. I had the pleasure of working with Frankie Vargas. He’s a gem and he went the distance to really ensure what was wrong and how to fix the problem. He explained the fix to me as it was complicated. But I understood. He was careful to explain options which they may be required to do if there were further complications and let’s face the truth, there can be complications. But he assured me and he was good to his Word, that they would explain the process along the way and even show me with the camera exactly what was going on. A few days passed and I was scheduled for service which required an inspection and a schedule with the local municipality - which delayed WireNut. But WireNut prevailed and the work began. The technicians sent were gentlemen and very sensitive to cleanliness - you know, keeping their work area clean and tidy while doing some difficult work. Those gentlemen Joseph Ellerd and Chris Beatty worked as a team. They were efficient and clever in their work which I watched much of the time. They maintained decorum in their language and in their respectful conduct. They were a real pleasure to know and like Frankie Vargas, they kept me apprised all along the way. I expect because of this consistent experience with WireNut plumbing department, that you too will find your experience more than completely satisfactory! It was certainly 5 Star and above!
