Security-Widefield Kitchen & Bath Plumbing

WireNut handles the full range, with licensed plumbers who know how to do the work correctly and communicate what it will cost before starting.

Kitchen and Bath Plumbing for Security-Widefield Homes

A lot of Security-Widefield’s housing stock was built in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, and the kitchens and bathrooms in those homes were not designed around modern fixture counts, water pressure expectations, or supply line materials. Remodeling projects in these homes often uncover galvanized supply lines that need to be replaced, drain configurations that need to be rerouted, and shut-off valves that have not been touched in decades and no longer actually close. WireNut handles all of it, from the straightforward fixture swap to the more involved remodel rough-in.

For single fixture work like a leaking faucet, our faucet repair and installation service covers that specifically. Drain problems in kitchen or bathroom lines are handled under our drain cleaning service. See the full Security-Widefield plumbing services page for the complete picture.

  • Fixture installation for sinks, faucets, toilets, showers, and tubs during remodels or when replacing aging units.

  • Shut-off valve replacement for valves that have seized, corroded, or no longer close properly on older Security-Widefield homes.

  • Dishwasher and appliance connections for kitchen appliances being installed or replaced.

Here is the kitchen and bath plumbing work our Security-Widefield plumbers handle most often.

What Plumbing Issues Come Up During Kitchen Remodels in Security-Widefield?

Kitchens in Security-Widefield’s older housing stock frequently reveal galvanized supply lines that are corroding from the inside and restricting flow, drain configurations that were never vented correctly and cause chronic slow draining, and shut-off valves under the sink that cannot actually be closed in an emergency. A kitchen remodel is a good opportunity to address all of these while walls and floors are already open. WireNut can assess what is behind your walls before the project starts so the scope is clear from day one.

What Should I Know Before Remodeling a Bathroom in a Older Security-Widefield Home?

Older bathrooms in Security-Widefield often run on cast iron drain lines and galvanized supply lines that are due for replacement. Moving fixture locations requires proper drain slope and venting, which is easy to get wrong without a licensed plumber involved in the rough-in. WireNut works with homeowners and contractors on bathroom remodel plumbing in Security-Widefield, handling the licensed plumbing portion of the project correctly so the rest of the renovation goes smoothly.

Cannan and Ian were both concerned about making sure I understood the process they were involved in and answered any questions and concerns I had on both days they were here. There was some miscommunication that involved the last day of installation and they both made sure that my HVAC was installed and running before they left that night. That had been their promise to me and they came through!

Good reliable service and knowledgeable technicians. I was apprehensive at first as I thought they would charge a lot more for certain things, but I’ve used them twice already and I think their prices are fair and reasonable.

So far so good! Really looking forward to working with them for new AC unit and furnace and tankless hot water heater..I'll add more to my review when the job is done..ps they caught that my house under from 16 years ago isn't up to code, so they are fixing that too. Tankless hot water heater went in today and it's great..they were VERY qualified and knowledgeable about all aspects of the job. The entire crew were pleasant and courteous. I really appreciate the work so far! I'm looking forward to having the AC, furnace combo up n running on Wednesday of next week. And I will review it then. I would have them in my house any time.
